That’s right, I love a good A-line side slit skirt. Which is kind of funny because I don’t really go for a-line skirts (no slits). I typically gravitate towards a flowy skirt, usually pleated. A-line reminds me of that business casual style. But add a side slit and it immediately transforms the skirt.
A-Line Side Slit Skirt
An a-line skirt is a skirt that is fitted on the waist and hips. Usually, you will see it with a straight cut. So from the hips to the knees or calves, that fit stays linear. In general, I’m not a fitted-style kind of girl. Of course, there are exceptions.
Anyways, I have owned this a-line side slit skirt for awhile. I even shared how to style it multiple ways. So unfortunately, this exact one is no longer available. I linked below very similar ones and tried to the find ones with the same color.
This type of skirt is so flattering. It adds a touch of sexiness to it without being too revealing. Again, it’s so versatile. I wore this as a casual summer time outfit, but it’s appropriate for a date night outfit too.
Here are other amazing a-line side slit skirts that I’m currently loving that I think are super flattering too!
Square Neck Tank Top
Lately, I’ve been purchasing and wearing square neck tank tops. Similar to how I feel about the side slit skirts, they’re very flattering. Square necklines in general is something that has surprised me and I hope that more clothes make this type of neckline. It shows off the shoulders and clavicle in a feminine way. Haha now I’m laughing at myself because I would never think a clavicle is an attractive feature. I can’t recall anyone saying “Oo I love her clavicle”, but seriously it is a beautiful feature!
My square neck tank top comes in several colors and I have it in black (the one I’m wearing) and in an orange-rust color. I’m considering getting all the colors. I do recommend sizing down. Based on the reviews that people have left, they said getting their true size was way too boxy. So I bought an XS and it fits me perfectly. My usual size is a small.
I love a good headband. It’s a great way to look put together without doing your hair. I immediately fell in love with this woven headband from Alice & Wonder. Most turban twist knot headbands are made with satin or some type of cotton. And if you know me, anything woven or straw-like I’m all for it especially during the Summer. I snagged this headband so quickly! Now the real question, should I get it in another color?
