Holiday Card: c/o Jubilantly Foil-Pressed
Our 2019 Holiday Card
Ta-Da! Here is our 2019 Holiday Card! Last month, I mentioned that one of these cards would end up being our 2019 Holiday Card. As you can see, it ended up being none of them. Originally, I had a photoshoot planned and that didn’t happen. But that’s life right? I still stand by those cards and if anything, I have a head start for selecting next year’s card haha.
Since our holiday shoot didn’t happen, I selected a photo of Tre and I from this past year. We both loved the photo from the Tuscany countryside. That’s where our photo was taken. And you know how Minted has the feature to utilize your own photos in all the holiday card designs? So when I uploaded our photo, it didn’t look right in any of the top 9 cards I selected. It turns out the Jubilantly Foil-Pressed looked the best. Which was a design I didn’t think to pick or look at.
The Design & Feature On Our 2019 Holiday Card
Font Color
For the font, I went with the Bronze foil-pressed color for the greeting. Our greeting says “Merry Christmas”, but you do have the option to select 3 other greetings such as “Happy Holidays”, “Happy New Year” or”Christmas Blessings”. Then, I went with the Ruby color for the last name.
Shape
I kept the shape of the card to be the standard shape. There are 3 other shapes to choose from.
Back Layout
For the back of the card, I went with the Watercolor Tree layout. I kept the font size and color the same as in the template and only customized the message.
Free Recipient Addressing
I think it is crazy not to take advantage of the free recipient addressing. It just makes things easier in my opinion. There are several designs to choose from for the recipient addressing. Usually, I don’t pay attention to the envelope. However, it is really fun when the envelope has fun & cute designs. It just makes receiving mail more exciting! We selected the ‘Snow Fun’ design. I know I get excited when I receive a holiday card from Minted. I love checking out what design others have selected. I’m all about the details haha.
I did pay extra for the Return Address to be printed on the envelope. Unfortunately, I lost our address stamp and didn’t want to put in the effort to write out our address on every card we send out. Talk about finger cramp!
Other Features
There are several features you can add on to your Minted holiday card. Below are the additional features:
- Add photos to your back layout
- Change the color of your envelope
- Add envelope liner
- Personalized stamp
I’m sure there are a few more I am missing, but ultimately you can make the holiday card tailored towards your style and aesthetic.
If you haven’t purchased/created your holiday card yet, be on the look out for Minted promotion deals. They constantly have them during the holiday season!
Also, a lot of the wrapping paper in these photos is from Minted. They have the cutest selection and the paper quality is awesome!

What a cute card! you picked a great photo to use 🙂 We use our family Santa photos as our Christmas cards each year, although it’s tricky when one of my boys is scared by Santa, haha! We don’t always get the best shot.
Hope that you are having a great weekend 🙂 We took the kids to see the new Frozen movie today and then out for lunch.
Thank you Mica! Haha I’m sure it was tricky and hope you enjoyed Frozen!
Love your Christmas photo Rach. Every year I am too disorganised to do one with the family but I need to set a goal for next year. These cards are gorgeous.

While this may not have been the original idea for your card, I do absolutely love how it turned out. The watercolor tree on the back is actually my favorite part! Putting together our holiday card is one of my favorite things, for sure!
