Minted Is The Best Place To Buy Holiday Cards
Minted is the best place to buy holiday cards. Actually, the title of this blog should be why Minted is the best place to buy holiday cards every year because that’s where we always get our holiday cards. Proof our Christmas cards last year were from Minted, and the year before that, and the year before, and the year before that. You get the picture.
Why I Love Minted
The reason why I think Minted is the best place to buy holiday cards is the aesthetics and designs of their cards. They’re just so cute! They also have the perfect amount of holiday cheer to it without over-doing it. I also love that there is a lot of flexibility with their cards. You can pick holiday cards with one photo, multiple photos, no photos, and then from there make several different adjustments.
My All Time Favorite Minted Feature
Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, my all time favorite feature is the FREE Recipient Addressing. Basically, it will have the name and address of the recipient already printed on the envelope. Such a time saver!! Coming from a very large family, writing out every envelope is DAUNTING. So to get a picture of how big my entire family is, at our wedding we had about 300 guests and the majority of it was my family. And to my family, that is a small wedding. I had to make some cuts… eeekkk! My extended family and I are close, so there is no way I want to exclude them from receiving a holiday card from Tre and I. Plus, I want to send out some cards to our close friends as well.
So the Free Recipient Addressing is pretty much a genius idea. All you have to do is input the names and their corresponding address in Minted (so you will have to setup an account) and it will be there forever. So once you add them, you don’t need to do it every year. What’s really cool is you have two sections for names. One section is just the name(s) and the other is how you want the name to display on the envelope. After sending out our wedding invitations almost 5 years ago (whoa!), I quickly learned that what’s on the envelope may be different.
What’s also really cool is that you can use your own photos in all the holiday photo card designs. That way you can really envision what the potential finished holiday card would look like. They currently have stocked photos in each design, but I always think that it looks slightly different once you replace the stocked photo with your own.
9 Best Holiday Cards
I’m also sharing my top 9 favorite holiday cards. Hopefully, this will help you with yours and it will help me make a decision. I’m having a hard time narrowing it down. As soon as I make a decision and mail them out to our family & friends, I’ll be sure to share our holiday cards!
